Great option for new straight razor shavers. “Steel 2 Stone” Gold Dollar 208 razor model. Razor is 6/8 in size (spine to edge) round point with a full hollow grind. Pins are tight and razor centers nicely. Aluminum travel case with velvet sleeve is included with the razor.
A true and trusted shave ready edge on either natural or synthetic finishing stone. Stropped on Kanayama Cordovan leather. Razor will be test shaved assuring it has a sharp crisp smooth comfortable shaving edge. Finally, it will been fully disinfected with Clippercide so it’s ready to be used right out of the box.
Razor will be coated in Japanese Camellia Oil protecting the blade during its travels so please be careful when taking it out. Simply rinse the blade under warm water right before the shave. Alternatively you may wipe off the oil with any tissue, napkin, or cloth being mindful of the edge.
No need to strop the razor out of the box before the first shave as it has already been stropped on Kanayama Cordovan Leather.
