Soap of Antiquity is our inaugural body soap - carefully crafted from ancient recipes sourced from Syria, Greece and Italy. It contains the finest ingredients for nourishing and moisturizing, making it an ideal bar soap for sensitive skin. It has been crafted in the style of Aleppo soap from the 8th century A.D., featuring bay laurel oil for its natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities - said to be favoured by Cleopatra of Egypt. I have also included laurel berry oil, as referenced in older recipes, which gives a potent, unique aroma. While the Romans and Greeks used primarily olive oil soap and the Greeks added goats milk, I have created an advanced blend with all these exemplary traits. Suitable for all skin types, it can be used for washing the face, body, hair and shaving. Forget the dozens of body soaps - this one is simply the best.
